Follow these steps carefully to ensure the laser removes the infection without damaging healthy tissue:

  1. Map the Infected Tissue Using Shapes:

    • Step 1: Open the media folder and select shapes (squares, rectangles, and triangles) to cover the infected tissue.

  • Step 2: Place the shapes on the grid. Shapes can cover multiple grid squares, but they must completely fill each square they touch.

  • Important: Do not leave any partially filled grid squares. Each shape must fully cover all the squares it touches—no half-filled grids.

  1. Use the Fewest Shapes Possible:

  • Try to cover the infected area using the fewest number of shapes to help the machine calibrate properly. The fewer shapes you use, the better the laser will work

  1. Input the Total Area:

  • After placing your shapes, calculate the total area of the infected tissue (how many grid squares you covered) and input that number. This tells the laser how much energy to use to avoid harming healthy cells.
