Students are given a map on their screens called “Multiple Paths”. Students work together as a team to scan different objects on the map and collect information.

Students will investigate a phenomenon and prepare to make a decision later.

Students should be analyzing and discussing the route difficulty rating that they just received. This should have an effect on which route they choose. Although they may have chosen the route that gives the most points, they now should realize that it is also the most difficult and likely to end in disaster

"What is the risk versus reward now that we know how difficult each of the routes will be?"
